Meet Dawnette

A calming spirit and a mother's heart.

My name is Dawnette Clarke Anglin, and caring for mothers and babies has been my life's work. For over 26 years, I have cared for moms during pregnancy, birth, and after delivery, along with their newborn babies.

I became a Certified Community-Based Doula to keep supporting parents beyond the hospital bedside. My goal is to be a calm, caring presence who listens, encourages and walks alongside you.

Credentials

Trained, certified, and experienced

  • Certified Community-Based Doula. Completed 80+ hours of coursework and practical experience through the Partnership for Maternal and Child Health of Northern New Jersey, with an equity lens and a trauma-informed approach.

  • Patient Care Technician for 26+ years. Care for pregnant and postpartum mothers and newborns, including hearing screenings and blood glucose monitoring.

  • Hands-on clinical skills. Comfortable with vital signs, blood work, and EKGs.
